IntraLogisteX 2024: An opportunity to share knowledge
The upcoming IntraLogisteX and Robotics & Automation Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham is definitely a highlight in the logistics industry’s calendar and one event I’m genuinely excited about attending this year.
It’s not just about showcasing our range of innovative products, including the latest in plastic pallets, pallet boxes and small hand-held containers, but it is also about the valuable face-to-face interactions it enables.
One of my favourite parts of any event is the opportunity to meet with prospects and some long-standing customers, which is few and far between due to everybody’s hectic schedules. These interactions aren’t just about catching up, they also allow us to share insights and learn from each other’s experiences. The exhibition floor also serves as an excellent platform for engaging in discussions about the latest industry trends. It also is a chance to reconnect with old industry friends!
IntraLogisteX will also provide the perfect platform to learn about the challenges many businesses are currently facing. It’s through these conversations that we can collectively work together to find solutions.
I’m pleased to confirm that the goplasticpallets.com team will be based on Stand 704 for the duration of the event. I will be joined by our Managing Director, Jim Hardisty, Steve Penney, our UK Key Account Sales Manager, and Gavin Thomas, our Senior Sales Executive – and we hope you can stop by for a chat.
Beyond the networking opportunities, the event offers a chance to deepen my own understanding of the industry. I have looked through the conference agenda, paying special attention to this year’s robotics and automation theatre. The keynote session from Gordon Baker from the UK Department of Science, Innovation & Technology looks fascinating, as it promises insights into the government’s perspective on robotics, an area of growing importance in our field. Similarly, the session by Ocado will offer valuable perspectives on the advancements in technology across the supply chain in the food sector. We work closely with a number of the leading UK supermarkets, so that one will be of particular interest!
I look forward to seeing you at the NEC on the 19th and 20th March.
